Web Developer

Due to the new HOW TO ANSWER QUESTIONS direction of CodeProject.com, led mike will no longer be providing assistance to developers on this site. My best wishes to most of the regular members of CP, it's been fun.

led mike has worked in the software industry for over 15 years. Over the course of those 15 years he has accumulated a lot of time. While amassing no outstanding achievements in his IT profession he has continually not been recognized for this. He has consistently made no notable contributions to the profession.

Most of his career has been spent using C++ and in the past 2 years started working with C#. He once touched Visual Basic with a ten foot pole.

He has a number of interests outside his software profession. None of which are any of your business.

He can be contacted at his email address, if you had it.

Retired None
Australia Australia
Started my programming life writing Excel 1.0 macros, God what a long time ago.

Now I'm a dotnet developer, I get to influence direction, play with new toys, build stuff, life is wonderful.

Greatest buzz you can get, walk past a row of desks and see your application running on all of them (and getting paid).

Greatest irritant, pouring 12 months of knowledge and experience into an empty head only to have it leave.

And now I'm retired, no deadlines, no meetings, no managers (except the ONE) and no users!

"Good code is its own best documentation. As you’re about to add a comment, ask yourself, ‘How can I improve the code so that this comment isn’t needed?’" -- Steve McConnell

"Every time you write a comment, you should grimace and feel the failure of your ability of expression." -- Unknown

Architect
India India
Santosh works as a Technical Architect in God's own Country, Kerala, India. He has been involved with C/C++ since 1996. Started with a few game clones and then went on to commercial software. He started his stint with software training and then went on to professional software development, design and architecture. Unix and C were his favorite in his early days but later grew very fond of Windows especially with the release of Windows NT 4.0 and Visual C++ 6.0. Technologies like COM and .Net fascinate him. He still lurks around Unix once in a while.

Music and the guitar are his second favorites and he manages to impress his friends with these skills when there are nobody better than him around. He is a patient and fun loving character who does not think too much about the future. He hates wasting time and so is working hard (in his dreams) to perfect instant transportation and time travel.

Oh! Yes. He loves Superman. Always did and always will. He would love to become a Superman and rid the world of all evil.

He used to be a Microsoft Visual C++ MVP (October 2009 - September 2013)

I have now moved to Sweden for love, and recently married a lovely Swede.

-----------------
I started programming on BBC micros (6502) when I was six and never quite stopped even while I was supposed to be studying physics and uni.

I've been working for ~13 years writing software for machine control and data analysis. I now work on financial transaction transformation software, for a Software company in Gamlastan, Stockholm.
Look at my articles to see my excellent coding skills. I'm modest too!
