Playing around with this some more I notice that I don't see any "Video adapter info:" listed on startup (there is no detail after that line in the logs).

What is weird though is that face.py sees it correctly "face.py: GPU in use: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960".

Any thoughts on that?

Do Face.py reports GPU use, but YOLO 3.1 or 6.2 don't? That's very odd.

Yes - what is really strange is YOLO 6.2 says it's using GPU (CUDA) on the dashboard as well, but I don't see anything in the logs for YOLO that calls out which GPU it is using (there is only one GPU in the box).

Ah! Then you're all good. That setting is set by the module only if it's found the CUDA drivers and PyTorch confirms it has a GPU available. The log entry is just a debug hold-over on the other module and isn't necessary to confirm the use of GPU. I think you're good.

That's good news! Unfortunately it still doesn't work. I just get the same "Object Detection (YOLOv5 6.2): [Exception] : Traceback (most recent call last):" and no further info.

Ok - VERY strange. I changed the default timeout in Agent DVR (which I'm using to test this) from 5s to 10s. Magically CodeProject.AI has started working and it's returning results in like 50ms. That makes no sense, but I'm going to follow up with Agent DVR dev.

Slightly unhelpful update for you, but: I've tracked down why you aren't getting useful info from that Exception and fixed it. Next release will provide far more info on what's happening. Due out in days.

Thanks Chris! It is helpful - I've gotten around the issue by increasing the timeout in Agent DVR, but if I can reproduce I'll provide additional detail.

The unraid template by default uses the CPU image. Did you update it to use the GPU one?

Version 2.0.8 has been released which addresses an issue many were seeing with excess Python processes hanging around. Depending on your system, how CodeProject.AI server was stopped/started, and what each process is currently doing, the shut-down of processes that should happen when the server is shutdown wasn't, actually, happening.

We've applied a fairly big hammer to the problem, so please let us know if this solves any memory and resources issues you may have been experiencing.

Can you please download and try again? I've just downloaded and am installing on my rig and all is good.

We uploaded a small correction (well, more like a confirmation of a build) and it may have been you installed right when the updates were going up.

Causing Blue Iris trigger alerts to fail. Blue Iris reporting an error AI:Error 200

I'm running the latest version of BI with 2.08 and have not experienced any errors over the last 24 hours.

2.07 was a wash out for me! I had to go back to V1.68.

The count is now up to five people on the IPCam Talk forum where 2.08 fails Blue Iris AI alerts. I wonder if it uses a new version of Python or is missing a dependency on some people's systems.

We changed the default face detection threshold to match what old DeepStack users were using, based on feedback. Sean's going to hop onto the forum and talk to those affected so we can work out the issue.
