After leaving CNN in 2011, Derek became ECM and data capture certified while helping run a successful company, Tallega Software, out of Irvine, CA. Shortly after Tallega Software was sold in 2015, he was recruited by ABBYY to run international lead generation campaigns, and drive new logo business. A Business Economics Bachelor from the University of California, Irvine, he focuses on generating demand for products and services that attract new customers, and drive value to existing clients.
