Excellent joke!
In case you were serious about that , we Indians speak anywhere between 3 to 7 different languages on an average, and that could include complex languages like Tamil, which has 247 letters. Learning a relatively simple language isn't hard for the vast majority of us.
Yes, the Limeys parked up here for a while, but there's nothing that they've "given". It was all take, take, and take.

Auto-correct would generally fix typos, not introduce typos. In case you were mentioning that auto-correct wasn't working and you were relying on it for spelling, that was kind of my point. Anyways, have a nice day. Or have another gloomy day in case you're in London or something.

Atleast they thought you how to ccorrect english spelling. Now you parked here, in codeproject and preach what they thought you.

Suppose to, but not always exact match. Atleast in my tablet.

The only thing the Limeys "thought" of was to make lemon juice.
Your confidence in writing, albeit the writings riddled with typos is absolutely hilarious. Your lack of historical knowledge makes it even better. Keep the incredulous entertainment coming.
Or take a few lessons from the Limeys yourself.

I agree - it's not as black and white as that. I don't believe any one country or region can claim accurately to be the greatest in the world. But once you move to a country and naturalize, I believe that should be your first country - even if you continue to have warm feelings for your previous country.
There are folks who move here and continue to dislike the country. I just find those people to be extreme hypocrites.

At first I was glad to see your happy but then all I saw was your face. So I went to get some and now I am .
I think later today I will so that I am not so when the wife comes home asking me all kinds of questions about who know what.
Cheers.

No, I just thought the mild banter between joke and rant icon was funny. I should be drinking though, now that you mention it, but alas, I do not drink anymore these days.

If for no other reason, any country that dresses their soldiers in bright red for their battle uniforms is definitely worth keeping an arms-length (and ocean width) away.
And the economic policies may have played a part in that Brexit, too.

Interesting angle on it.
The US war of independence was the English Civil War part II IMO.
At least if you view it in its idealised form. If you view it somewhat more realistically is just a land grab.

You know, some really good fiction is written about how things would have turned out if James II was forced to flee to the American Colonies in 1688 instead of France; re-establishing of the Throne of England in the New World.

Nish, my grandmother emigrated from Scotland as a child to Canada, I emigrated from Canada to the USA as an adult.
I tell the kids I work with (grade 1 to grade 6): if you live in this country, respect the American flag. Even if I'm not a citizen, this country is where I call home.

Something fishy about your hypothesis. Perhaps scale it back a bit so it's more in tuna with current trends?

Your a day, early, lad.
However, since you've just volunteered, I will entrust the care of CP into your capable (if unwashed) hands. Also, don't forget to maintain the "If W∴Balboos was here he'd post this . . ." series.

To begin with, for the first time ever, I made it to the bottom of the Last 24hrs "Top Experts List" - barely behind OG, himself (the barely part probably won't last).
But it doesn't end, there. By ca. 16:00 GMT (which is still mid-morning where I'm going) I'll be enjoying Island beverages on a tropical Isle without a care in the world (and open bars) until next Sunday* Indeed - I won't carry money for the duration. Even tipping is forbidden - currency is a smile. You didn't specify a day, so I assumed today ...
