Ok, I'll bite.... How does someone being religious change the age of earth?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is

Science versus the Bible? I don't know. I'm just guessing that is what he meant.

Creationists believe the earth is around 6000 years old and that humans and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time. Science tells us the earth is around 4.5 billions years old and that humans and dinosaurs are separated by around 65 million years.

FTFY.
Creationists tend to base their beliefs on a literal interpretation of the old testament, and would most likely self-identify as Christians.
In other words: most creationists are religious people; but not all religious people are creationists.

Creationism is a literal interpretation of the bible, and so is therefore rooted in religion.

Dominic Burford wrote: Creationism is a literal interpretation of the bible, and so is therefore rooted in religion. Correct. My point was that creationists believe in a literal time frame, not all religious people as the OP suggested. Creationists make up a small percentage of religious people.

Indeed. We may never see the maracas employed with such artistry again. However, you're mourning like it's 2012!

While @OriginalGriff he may be,
of original TOTD he is mostly not.
Yet, of my TOTWs it's plain to see,
Of originality I have wrought.
Nar I copy, nar I paste,
With such ease as OrigGriff.
I write anew without haste,
(If only I could post a TIFF!)
Alas, my posts, true, are longer,
And, of content, much ado,
Really, of nothing stronger,
Than a pesky, noisy, A-Choo.

...we are currently moving from one house to another. Luckily to be with my miss who organizes all this s**t
[Edit]
I'm happy to solve something related to physical things, especially it goes to light/colorimetrics. But organizing to move a flat is too much for me.

Lilly Savage said it best: "Never move house on a weekend, or a public holiday. The traffic will be bad, there will be nowhere to park the van, and the kids will notice and want to come too."

Decrease the belief in God, and you increase the numbers of those who wish to play at being God by being “society’s supervisors,” who deny the existence of divine standards, but are very serious about imposing their own standards on society.-Neal A. Maxwell
