The links you've provided are the same, and that link works with and without a .aspx extension. Which link (and where did you see it) didn't work?

I believe the codeproject.com SPF record is not a valid string. The DNS query display looks nice, readable to humans, but when its unravel and concatenated by code, the SPF record has missing spaces resulting in a permanent error. Like the first "v=spf1 " has has trailing space, the others lines do not have a trailing space. This is why we haven't been seeing notifications because codeproject.com is expected to have a SPF record and resulting in a PASS. No SPF Record (permerror) means rejection. Hope it can get resolved quickly. I am not going to get to get any notifications until the SPF record is fixed. Thanks

Post edit: This is what it appears like when read by a DNS client, no spaces w/ the splitting of lines. A SPF parser will return a permanent error with this invalid record.

Sure. For your records, just add a trailing space before ending double quotes or unravel the records into one long string with the proper spaces in between directives.

Chris, when a DNS client does the query, I don't think the "client" would be expected to should add a "space" at the end of each line separated by a <cr><lf> pair. Each line will be concatenated without a space. I was one of the original implementers of SPF back in 2003 with WCSAP (wcSAP - Wildcat! Sender Authentication Protocol[^]) and daily statistic since that time ()[^].
I haven't seen the fix yet.

The codeproject.com SPF record is now fixed.
This is some anti-spam advice. When you first added a SPF, you had a -ALL hard failure. This was great because it allowed for fast deterministic rejections of spoofed codeproject.com domain mail. The current one is a SOFTFAIL (~ALL) result which means that receiver systems are no longer sure because YOU are no longer sure. So we most systems WILL NOT reject it. What it does is add pressure to the receiver system to perform heuristic and "iffy" subjective filtering systems and overall, it makes it much harder to filter the spam. The CODE is more complex. You relaxed for business reasons of course, you have "partners" out there that is sending junk to us perhaps. So be it.
But if you want to protect against negative branding of your codeproject.com domain, you will need something stronger. Today, that would be DMARC.
To use a softfail, you will need to add DMARC record to bring back some fast anti-spoofing deterministic. I don't know your mail is DKIM signed, so you will need to do that as well, you can't do DMARC without doing DKIM. Here is a WIZARD that I recently put today for the newer DMARC thing.

All I want is email to work safely, securely and reliably. I've never understood why it's all so hard.

When a message is on moderation and reported as spam by a protector, there will be email notifications if the message is a reply to a forum message or posted on an article forum. They are also shown on top of the page (new messages).
This can be really annoying.

We've backed ourselves into a corner, architecturally, on that one. We can fix it but it'll need a serious overhaul of the workflow. I'll add it to the TODO.

All markup except specific (eg span highlight and B/I) are automatically encoded. Yes, this stops you doing crazy stuff like you're suggesting, but on balance it avoids a TON of messed up HTML in code blocks.
You could wrap the markup you want in TT tags with a background colour:

I'm consider a new member here although I have joined this site about 4 months ago but seldom to contribute or ask questions here.
