Many unedited articles aren't formatted correctly - large images, code that isn't wrapped etc. As soon as an editor gets a chance to edit it will be fixed.

The best thing you can do is use the "Report Article" link at the top of the article to let us know there's one that needs urgent attention.

When someone reads an article it would be nice to have a list of other related articles from the same topic.

We already have something close to this at the bottom of articles but are working to tighten it up and make the article list much closer to the current article

Deleted Messages

Most probably mentioned before, but if somebody asks a nobby question (read NIIT in C# forum, or similar), and they get 'suitable' replies, they delete their original question. This a) screws up the boards by having dangling posts, and b) gives the OP anonymity from his stupid question / interview question / homework question, which he may have had an answer too, and he can 't be caught 'cheating'.

I always think twice before asking a question or even ansewring, as I know my current boss frequents the boards, and any future boss could well have a look.

So - without the waffle, can we stop questions that have had a reply from being deleted?

I fully agree.
It has been discussed several times before.
Arguments against it are:
- original author can remove the contents of his message; how to prevent that while allowing
him to apply corrections/additions. My answer is by keeping the original ALSO.
- whatever approach to prevent deletion will cost more disk space. My asnwer is the first
reply should copy the entire original message. From then on, any other solution will
actually save disk space!

Maybe we do this:

Add the ability to mark a question as "solved". We count the number of times a person deletes a question that's been marked "solved" and if it's over a threshold they get kicked for abuse.

Right... but who decides that it is "solved"? In all fairness to _normal_ posters, it should be the OP, but this doesnt solve the issue at hand.

Who is to decide whether a problem is solved? IMO only the OP can do that. So how does
this help?

I don't think this will help at all:

IMO the disappearing messages are the ones that are not solved at all, but get removed:
- because some reply said "wrong forum"
- because the OP got aware and ashamed it was a silly question
- etc.

None of these would get a "solved" mark anyhow; questions that really got solved
by one or more good replies tend not to disappear AFAIK.

IMO the only category that may be covered by this is the question that did not get
answered but got solved by the OP using other means; I am afraid that is a small minority...

Maybe you should gather some statistics on disappearing messages (i.e. keep them, hidden,
for a while, and manually try to figure out why they got deleted).

[BUG] Survey MailForm shows HTML Tags in Your Name:

Just went to Survey MailForm (Suggest a Survey) page. In the 'Your Name' textbox, I could see the name with HTML tags. I think it has just filled the profile name from database to the textbox. However, in this case and typically while filling it in textboxes, it can cut off the HTML tags. Isn't it?

P.S.: HTML Tags in textboxes might also give rise to Script Injection Attacks. Isn't it?

I have written two article 1 year back.

I think different ids should mean different login names (login email addresses). You can email webmaster (at) codeproject.com so that your credentials can be advised. But I don't know whether CP can merge both your acccounts into one.
