I don't think this will help at all:
IMO the disappearing messages are the ones that are not solved at all, but get removed:
- because some reply said "wrong forum"
- because the OP got aware and ashamed it was a silly question
- etc.
None of these would get a "solved" mark anyhow; questions that really got solved
by one or more good replies tend not to disappear AFAIK.
IMO the only category that may be covered by this is the question that did not get
answered but got solved by the OP using other means; I am afraid that is a small minority...
Maybe you should gather some statistics on disappearing messages (i.e. keep them, hidden,
for a while, and manually try to figure out why they got deleted).

Just went to Survey MailForm (Suggest a Survey) page. In the 'Your Name' textbox, I could see the name with HTML tags. I think it has just filled the profile name from database to the textbox. However, in this case and typically while filling it in textboxes, it can cut off the HTML tags. Isn't it?

P.S.: HTML Tags in textboxes might also give rise to Script Injection Attacks. Isn't it?

I think different ids should mean different login names (login email addresses). You can email webmaster (at) codeproject.com so that your credentials can be advised. But I don't know whether CP can merge both your acccounts into one.

Sometimes when I click on the Post Message button there is a long delay then I get this error message:
"An error has occurred
Sorry!
The maximum length of time our servers were willing to spend on your request has passed. They are extremely busy and ask that you let them take a quick breather before trying again."
It sounds like I've done something wrong and annoyed the servers who really have better things to do that service the users of CodeProject, it's far too smug and should be changed.

Yes, just a quick five minute one :-> ( but policy is there must be at least one at the server while the others go on break, and they rotate so no one gets ripped off a break  )

Maybe Chris should add the following to that error message:

There is something bizarre about the algorithm that makes an excerpt of a message board reply to email to users. It seems to rely heavily on line feeds and cuts off the rest of the message if someone puts a blank line in their response.
So if a reply contains this:
"Hi!
I totally disagree with what you said..blah blah"
You get a notification with this:
"Hi!"
If the reply is this:
"Hi!
I totally disagree with what you said..blah blah"
You get the whole thing.
Personally I don't see why it's cut off at all, I'd like to see it include all the text and compile several responses together if possible into one message.
