If you are a recent graduate, your resume will be no more than 1 page with bullet points with your education and what technology you know, and if you have experience, add it also.
After that, a small presentation letter stating why you want to work for such and such company.

After university, I struggled to get my first CV on 2 pages! Even back then there was still a lot of education (school, college, university), then any part time jobs had to go on there too.
I would say don't worry about breaking the length rules, just make sure the highlights stand out on the first page and leave all the "other information" to the subsequent pages.

After nearly 30 years, my resumé still fits in a single page (I've been lucky to only have had 4 different jobs in that time).
I think the presentation letter is more important at that point then the resumé.

If it's your first ever proper job you are applying for then yes you want to add part time work, otherwise you risk looking like a lazy ass that has no working experience.

If you are applying to a technology company for a developer job, you should not list:
6 months working on weekends at McDonalds,
2 years working the weekends on a restaurant as a waiter,
4 weeks vintage / picking grapes,
3 years working the weekends on a disco / club
1 year as child teacher in a after school academy
Maximum, If you really want to avoid looking like a lazy ass (as you say), you should write:
6 years working the weekends in diverse partial jobs in different sectors during studies.
1) you show you are not a lazy ass
2) you show respect to their time by not wasting it with unnecessary information

no. If you read correctly I said:

I did write in all applications to my first job, that I partly worked in the IT Department of my college as "Junior System Administrator" and as "Student help force in the automation laboratory"
After the first two years experience and a couple of successful professional projects... that lines vanished of my CV though

So, let's say somebody finishes university, and applies for an IT job.
The only job they have ever done in their entire life is work at McDonalds on weekends for 3 years.
Should they include that or not?

I would say... no (and some articles online about human resources or how to apply to a job say the same too)
Luckily is a free world (some places more than other but that's another story), so you can do whatever you want 
On the other hand, 3 times answering a very similar question, with a very similar answer... that's enough for me.

I haven’t take the 2nd round test yet. I was doscourage by the post I found on Google. I also noticed that, the practice / lesson test are somehow difficult to follow.
I’m thinking if a pro said it tough, my chances might not be that great. Don’t want to embarrass myself 
I know there was a post about this topic back in 2016, but please share your thought.

I was reading an article about Java 8 free updates going away in a couple of days (What to do when free Java 8 updates end | InfoWorld[^])
Then, I decided to check my version of Java installed on my machine. I really only use it for Android dev.
It said I had version 10-something. Java versioning has always confused me. I checked for updates in Control Panel.
I then said, "Ok, let's update."
Then a thing came back and said, you need to uninstall old outdated versions (10-something).
"Ok," said I. "I hear and obey."
remove it all
I let it uninstall and then waited and assumed that it was going to install the latest version. I kept waiting and nothing. now I have no Java installed on my machine.
Java Update?
I guess this (complete Java removal) is considered a java update!

It's a weird thing. I no longer have that Java control panel item, but I definitely have SDK 10.x and the JRE on the machine so I have no idea what that even did.
Oh, well, probably just a virus.

It might be a winio error.
They've been working on the whole control-panel applet/cr@ppy "settings tool" thing, so it's not unlikely that they've bollixed it up, rather than java.
