Wish I had gone just to enjoy the wonderful, positive, energy that Thais emit/induce when they are collectively involved with something they care about. But, at this point (health reasons), fascinating, feral, Bangkok is not for moi.
p.s. a Naga [^] (Thai: phyanaak) is not a dragon, but a river serpent, considered in Thai/Buddhist cosmology as rain-maker, and protector of Siddhartha => Buddha during his achievement of enlightenment.

I never click links that do not make clear in some way what the content is ... unless: the post title is explanatory, or, the link is a post, or in a post's thread, where the context and content make it very clear it's possibly relevant to something I'm interested in.
I'm flexible, however: if I see a thread has a lot of responses, and people I respect are saying interesting things, that may motivate me to open some obscure link,

Sat behind a car today that had 2 sticker on its rear windscreen. I don't think the owner saw the irony, but it certainly gave me a chuckle. The stickers were:
"Trust in the Lord", followed by "I'm with the RACQ" (Royal Automobile Club of Queensland).
