I mean you could also just invent a portal gun...

There's a nap for that.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

That's not so bad, put yourself in my shoes. I drive 40 miles, 1 1/2 hours to work to realize I forgotten something.

It could be that you are just very busy and it happens that some things slip through the cracks. If I really need to remember something I have to make a note of it otherwise I forget with all the other busyness.

I wrote two letters on my hand this morning to remember something and now I can't remember what it was... Any idea what SB stands for?

Simply stop running around like a headless chicken.
Just stop chasing yourself and take a second to think before you do something and everything will be fine. When you are ready for the next level, we will raise the bar by having a drill sarge yell into your ear while you must stay calm and get your act together.
Or as Yoda would have put it:
Quote: A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away... to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph! Adventure. Heh! Excitement. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things. You are reckless!

I avoid that problems with having all needed keys in my "big" key chain. And I have a smaller one for weekends.

Keys. I was just remembering them a few days ago. I haven't seen or used one in over 13 years. Not for cars, home or office. Zero keys.
Yeah, it was a lot of work retrofitting the house, but I'm into that and I enjoy it. Totally worth it.

There's a little thing called a Nagagator that will help you remember that and more. But there definitely high maintenance

You need a keyless lock, they come in all sorts of varieties depending on the level of security you need/want. I actually use one on my house, its been awesome as I only carry the key for whatever vehicle I am driving. So much less cluster and useless things to remember to carry...
Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.

It's true and false.
Someone's simple code might look complicated to other.
I can't remember the specific but to give you an analogy / anecdotal evidence once I refactored some code to be way shorter and more linear.
Unfortunately I was using this newfangled keyword await and this new class no-one uses in the company: Task .
Sometimes people refuses to understand something simply because it doesn't look enough like copy paste from some other part of the application. That is unfortunate when your challenge is to simplify code that is, from everybody's agreement, too much spaghetti like....

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
