I can't stop imagining a three boobed turtle. Eugh.
On a second thought: is the turtle male or female?

It's vaguely disturbing that you sailed past the notions of single-mammaried and dual-mammaried turtles without regard, and went straight for the triple.

It's just that "turtle recall" made me think of that awful movie with Ahnold Schwarzenegger and the absurd scene of the 3 breasted martian woman.

That was tortuous tortoise tomfoolery.

As familiar with computers as my parents were (and still are), I would have hacked and then spied on them them. Too bad we did not have any internet back then.

They were banned in Germany a few days ago[^].
I can't see any other option than to ban them; they will never be safe enough -- the cloud is no place to store such personal data from young children.
It wouldn't be a great hardship to rig a doll with an old smartphone, where you can at least take care of security matters yourself.

And yet we've had smartphones for a long time, and facebook. Why does anyone care about privacy when they choose to post their whole lives online and carry around a tracking device?
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

To the data gatherer's:
Don't worry - they won't take away their cell phones.
Or their "smart TV" - who just might be watching back.
Etc.

I may get a new machine this year and I came across this lot^. The prices look quite good so I thought I'd share and I also wondered if anyone had used them.

I don't have a feel for PC prices in the UK, but I had a look at their Intel based machines. I am convinced you could get a Dell or HP in the US with comparable performance at a considerably lower price.

Unless you need something heavily customized, I don't see that they are such great bargains.
In Israel, you can get an i7-6700 based system with 16GB RAM, a 2TB HDD, and a DVD burner from Dell for less than UKP 1,000 (including Win10 Pro). I can't imagine that computers are that much more expensive in the UK.
EDIT: should have answered the OP

I nearly bought one from them 18 months/2 years ago and the prices seem to have gone up massively since then. I'd shop around a bit.

I don't see the point to buying a pre-assembled PC when it costs less than half to build it yourself.
