You're not making friends here today: posting the same message six times because it didn't appear immediately is not helping your cause...
I deleted the spares.

I guess there is a bug that CP team needs to fix. It was displaying message removed whereas I can now see all the messages in other browser.
|
|

That's not a bug: you got picked up by the spam filter and sent to moderation so a human being could confirm if the messages should go through or your account crushed like a worm. The "message removed" is a placeholder to let you know you are being moderated. I let them through and then had to clean up the mess afterwards to prevent your account getting kicked.

If the Makefile is the Maker of all executable files, who is the Maker of the Makefile ?

I remember a CCC from this week that had the answer as solution.

Where is my black cloak when I need it?
No, makefile, I AM your maker! (pshhhht)
The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

"No, from Canada."

These are not the makefiles we are looking for.
Compile along.

Now you have done it. I will need something like this[^] to play in an endless loop while I'm writing code.

And who made the maker of the makefile?
And who made the maker of the maker of the makefile?

If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

It is recursive!
In Word you can only store 2 bytes. That is why I use Writer.

Actually a genuine question, since the first big milestone of a compiler is when you can compile it in the language you have programmed it for.

I once wrote a make script to generate Makefiles; so who's the Maker?.

MAK files are too rigid; generating them at build-time saves a lot of tedious maintenance work.
At the place I worked in the 90s they used "KAM" files to make "MAK" files.
