I'm kind of like that, I love being up high as long as the responsibility for staying up there isn't mine. On the edge of a cliff with a nice fence, no problem, couldn't go near one without. But that's not an irrational fear, that is a perfectly rational fear that I'm a bumbling incompetent idiot who will trip over his own feet and plummet to his death. So, not a phobia.

 Heights & closed environments do a bit for me. I think twice before getting into a narrow lift, that people casually walk into.

I am claustrophobic, I get very anxious with heavily confined spaces and restriction, I don't even like wearing tight clothes like things with elasticated cuffs. I think I would seriously freak out if handcuffed or restrained by the police for example. Feeling a little anxious just thinking about it. I think it is to do with a time on the beach as a child, my dad had buried me in the sand, the tide came in and as it washed over me the sand began to suck and constrict around me, I couldn't free myself and my dad dragged me out. I believe, rightly or wrongly, that that is why I cannot abide physical restriction.
A mate of mine at uni had a serious phobia of sticky things. He traces it back to getting very sticky medicine spilt on him as a young child, so a time when he was already feeling unwell and unhappy. It was an incredible thing to see, someone once tried to put a charity sticker thing on him in a shopping mall and he nearly went for the bloke. His housemates once wrapped sticky tape around the door handle to his room, sticky side out, and he couldn't bring himself to touch the handle to get into the room.

That is like hell! I know.
I don't know if I had similar experience as a child but I often get nightmares like me getting into a 3 foot space capsule, completely metallic , completely locked. That feels so sick I just jump-wake from bed in few seconds and take a deep breath.

This particular phobia has gained some prominence due to very dubious Facebook videos supposedly showing holes in the skin caused by shampoo - the photoshop is particularly dodgy as it's actually a flower head (a lotus pod if memory serves) superimposed into the subject.

Yes, that is the thing often used as an example of what freaks people out.
I find the human pictures extremely unpleasant to look at, as I do with most gory sights. The lotus pod and other examples of close irregular holes do not bother me at all.

I'm not afraid of anything, not even this.
Mind you, I don't "like" the pictures (fake or not), but I have no feelings of disgust, fear or whatever.
Which makes me feel kind of cool actually, because I have literally no fear of anything at all. (yet)

This doesn't bother me, what does bother me are Mangoworms (youtube at your own risk) and that's more to do with the distress that's being caused to the (usually) dog.
