I would recommend starting with something like the single - Starman. The music is just beautifully structured.
Then move onto Life on Mars and Space Oddity and take it from there

David Bowie has passed away from cancer at the age of 69.
Strange man, strange singer, icon.
Rest in peace.

TBH I never liked his music that much - I can see why people enjoyed it, but not for me. He seemed pretty decent when I heard him interviewed though. Auntie's coverage (at least the bit I heard) was a bit nauseating, more hagiography than impartial reporting.
Still, a sad loss to his fans & family.

Fear the mankini.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Recently I spend a lot of times on the Diablo 3 forum. Not because they are pleasurable, on the contrary they are so toxic I could cry... But in the sick impatient hope of seeing some yet undisclosed interesting info about up coming patch and also because I have time to waste...
For a change I went to Fallout 4 forums and there, surprise, surprise, forums are also quite toxic! (Although, admittedly, less so!)
All of that to say, I am impressed by the enduring civility of CodeProject forums!

I guess it's because the topic is not flooded with kids, that's what is mainly the problem of those forums

It is probably not a fair comparison, games forums vs CP, they are completely different demographics.

I must admit to considering only known CPers as relevant, I hate numbered accounts for that reason, they get lumped in with the non entities that abound in all forums.

Not an assumption, my good sir! Of course, an average is a statistician's tool, and thus inherently suspect. As the great one said about the categories of lying: "Lies, damned lies, and statistics."
I fully agree with your statement about the numbered accounts. My take is this: CP is a collaborative format, and if someone is not willing to be known, even by an alias, then they're not really willing to collaborate.
