Have been clean of BASIC and Pascal for a long time now. I only ever experimented with COBOL, FORTRAN, and C++.
But C# is my reason to wake up in the morning.

In your definition of addiction, coding would be seen as a "rewarding stimuli".
If your question is, is coding rewarding stimuli, I would have to say yes it is to me, I'm sure there are people that don't find it rewarding.
If your question is, is coding addictive, I would have to say that it depends if you're an addict or not, and if you are, whether you chose coding to be your drug of choice. If you are an addict and coding is your drug of choice then coding is addictive to you. It is also not some statement that you can make in a general manner. E.g. are all women 'beaches'?.
