I'm giddy as a schoolboy!!!!
I love amusement parks with comic book themes! Used to work for Disneyland Paris[^] many years ago, and I still miss it a lot!
Asterix is actually an exception. I don't care much for that comic, so I have never had any urge to visit Parc Asterix[^].
But I just read that next year, they will open a new theme park, Parc Spirou[^] in Monteux, near Avignon. Spirou is definitely a favourite, and they will have Lucky Luke characters there as well. Hope they also include Gaston Lagaffe.
I can't wait. Best of all: It's located in a part of France I've never been, so I get to see Provence as well!

Yeah, as far as that is concerned, I think I'll wait for the comic book to come out...

I read the first page and there's no offensive language - I assume it degenerates on later pages?

Really? I've been there twice now and enjoyed myself both times. My wife went for the first time last September and had a blast. Not the biggest or best I have ever visited, but it was fun.
They do something with the lines that I wish parks here in the US would do. For popular rides there are two lines. The normal line where you go as a group and then the "single riders" line. For every run that goes out, there are always that one or two (or more) seats because everyone wants to ride with their friends. They fill those with the single riders. I had gotten a bit motion sick and my wife grabbed another two rides in under 20 minutes. The main line was almost two hours long!

Yes, that does indeed sound like a really good idea. Hope other parks implement that as well

I have to re-read some of the Spirou comics to have an opinion on this (I am an Asterix fan).
But if they can engineer a real Marsupilami[^], then I am all in.
I'd rather be phishing!
