Um...the studs should be made of wood. You can find them with magnets only because the drywall panels would have been installed by attaching them to studs with metal nails. So really you are using the magnet to find the metal nails....which you probably know, I just couldn't stop myself from clarifying.

I wouldn't hang anything heavier than a painting on drywall.
I second Peters opinion that you need to find the studs for the screws.
You can get Stud Finders in most hardware stores. They're invaluable since they won't just find metal as well as wooden studs but they also warn about electric cables.
It might be a shocking experience to put a screw through an electric cable.

Being the son of a carpenter I have done this a few times. The most recent time (without the help of dad) I built the walls and knew where the cabinets would go so I installed 2x4 blocking on near the tops and bottoms of the upper cabinets along with blocking near the tops of the bottom cabinets. We used a laser level to draw a level line on the bottom of the top cabinets same goes for the top of the bottom cabinets. In the past I had also used water levels to do this. The screws we used came with the cabinets however Lowes and Home Depot have similar cabinet screws in stock or you can order them online.

You need to locate the studs which are normally 16" apart so once you find one the rest should be easy.
Cabinets have runners/reinforced wood top and bottom that you will need to run your screws through. Generally 2-1/2 to 3" screws are adequate.

If it's a new device, then you almost certainly need to look to the manufacturers; don't they have a tech support address? Or their distributor in your country? I've found that distros can often talk direct to the right person and get info I can't get any other way.
