Don't get me started on article voting...

That's where I recogised the name from. Thanks. It was bugging me trying to remember why his name was familiar.

«I'm asked why doesn't C# implement feature X all the time. The answer's always the same: because no one ever designed, specified, implemented, tested, documented, shipped that feature. All six of those things are necessary to make a feature happen. They all cost huge amounts of time, effort and money.» Eric Lippert, Microsoft, 2009

...soon. Just back from work, getting a quick bite to eat and then taking the boy down to the pub.
For those late to the story, my son Jeremy turned 18 today.

What a start of work.
Opening CP and seeing on top of the community list the subject "Off to the pub".
Have to wait ten hours before I can say that.
However, have a nice evening at the pub with Jeremy.

Well, I am doing this with my son occassionally.
The good thing is, since he is only 10, he's not allowed yet drinking beer, so I am getting his too...

SyncFusion is turning loose it's entire control set. I've had a license since someone posted in the lounge about a "good deal." Since then I've renewed my support twice, never yet actually using the elephanting control set. They have been very good at working with me, and I hope in 2015 I can actually roll out an app.
Nevertheless, free is free.

Thanks for the link!
This control library might have some goodies in it!

That's at least the 3rd time this has been posted. Twice in the lounge, once in the Insider, who knows where else.

Marc,
When should I expect my "That's a repeat post." hat? Now I feel like a true member of the CP family.

dysfunctional? unless you operate (or work for) a small business, most things are political in nature.

Very cool. We are 3 devs, so we qualify
I hope other companies like Telerik, DevExpress also bring out a community edition.

I used to use DevExpress and Telerik controls a lot, but since Knockout, Angular, Bootstrap and TypeScript I've found they're pretty much redundant these days (which may explain why they're giving their stuff away for free)

We do mostly desktop apps using WPF and Telerik, so extra free 3rd party controls are welcome

Ah yes, Microsoft's WPF controls are somewhat limited
