No fair, we all know politicians have a frontal lobotomy as they move up the graft food chain and they were particularly save with Abbot. If they had done the right thing they would have simply cut his throat. He really is the king of drivel.

So I just got this email from our IT department:Due to a recently published vulnerability, IT is in the process of disabling older versions of SSL on our employee and customer facing sites. This is necessary in order to continue providing secure access to our applications. Other major sites and service providers are in the process of making the same change.
This will not impact any modern browser. However, users of Internet Explorer 6 may be unable to connect to our sites after this is implemented. Internet Explorer 6 has been unsupported by Microsoft since April 2014, and the recommended path is to either upgrade to a later version or to switch to a different browser.
Since Internet Explorer 6 accounts for less than 0.1% of our traffic, we believe this should impact a minimal number of people. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Help Desk. Ah, SSL exploits, the final death of IE6.
Yay!

I still don't believe people use IE6. Only if they knew how hard it is to make the website compatible with IE, they would never ever use IE6 even if Microsoft would pay them $1 for each usage.

If they paid me that much i would definitely use it. I would even use older browsers on a dedicated machine at that rate.
Now how many uses can I do per hour? How about if I were to automate it? 50? 60?
I do not write it, so I really do not care how hard it is to write. Just pay me already.

I feel that IE6 has been post-mortem for a while, if anyone uses it it's like a zombie browser to me (kill it with fire and all that)
On a serious note, good to see that people are finally moving on from it.
