How do you handle a boss that doesn't want to listen to your explanation and believe he is right! But you can see the flaw of the plan as plain as the back of your hands?
Definition:
Handle - make him see, calm him down, make him listen.

Do it in writing, not contradicting or telling him another way, just saying "this is my idea" or "would there not be a problem if we did this..".
Give him every opportunity to change ideas without seeming to back down or be seen to be wrong.
Doing it in writing (eg. an email) means he can read it at his leisure, without any pressure, and think about a response - it's not putting him on the spot. Also, if he refuses to listen, goes ahead and it all goes pear shaped, if he tries to blame it on you you can just produce the email ...

To calm someone down you have to first connect with them on an emotional level. Mirror whatever emotion he has and state it to him. Only after you have aligned at that level will he be most receptive to your plan.

Learn to negotiate. Negotiation is about give and take. Both parties have to feel as if they're getting a concession out of the deal. If you refuse to listen to him to get "your way" he'll do the same. And in the end he has the most leverage since he's paying you. Once you learn the give and take principle, and ensure he doesn't feel like your treating him like an idiot (he's not either, he figured out how to run a business and pay you), then he'll be a lot more willing to listen. It's people skills man.
