I am not sure who came up with the brilliant idea of standardizing the numbering of series seasons and episodes, but this is it : brilliant. About as much as it was obvious and simple.
When recording some episodes, you can even filter out those you do not want to : we have often 2 or 3 episodes in a row on tv here, one from the newest season and two others from previous seasons.
Before, you had to look up for THE website that randomly mentioned it, otherwise no way to situate what you were looking at.
Probably old news to you, but here quite recent, and remarkable.

Yeah, it is cool, isn't it?
Easy to sort a "Type" list of things to filter a "Movie" etc.
One problem though. There's often no way to filter by first,second (as in TSQL, frinstance) so often the "E" or the "S" GROUP will interlace different programs. Much like Code Project Newsletter labelling "Tips" as "Articles", eh?

Sadly, Scotty the guitar playing, keyboard plunking, singing, movie making, general hi-jinxing deck lead of the Forties B passed away leaving a massive hole in the fields community.
Some of you may have seen his works of 'art' on youtube, as I have posted them here previously.
Hopefully, his Youtube channel will be around for a long time to come and we can look back at some of his 'some may consider NSFW' creations, such as;
Scotty vs Delboy: The Dodgy Haircut Years[^]
Buzz Lightyear Offshore Storeman[^]
Scotty....it was a pleasure working with you and may you RIP.

Everyone* thinks it was written by Rudyard Kipling.
(And it is very much his style).
But it was not.
It is an excellent poem though.
