I kind of want to believe that.. and it will make sense!...
but my case (for the 920) does show some sign of wear and tear... and camera is blurry...
I think just having a little micro fiber clothe to wrap it in my bag is all I will need!

wipe your phone, especially the camera, a scratch does not make the entire picture burry.

Hey, there might be dirt on my len indeed!
Seems better now, silly me! ^^
No case it is!
Will still not mix it with keys and coins in the same pocket!

One thing I have found with those plastic sheets over the screen: They tend to degrade visibility while in sunlight. After I've put one of those over my Galaxy Note 2 I can hardly see anything if there's any sunlight around, previously there was no problem.

Yeah, don't like them!
And why buy a Nokia and buy a case? Nokia is super tough, case is redundant!

Anyhow, I've had all sorts before. None of them were any good when it came to robustness, not Nokia, Sony, Samsung, or Motorola. The only one which gave me proper longevity is a very old Siemens ME45 (not a smart phone, though it can do emails, java apps and web pages through its minuscule monochrome screen) - it survived multiple drops onto concrete floors from several storeys up and even lasted through water submersions (I was using it on construction sites). It's still my backup phone even after 13 years, battery life also still 7 days without recharge.
My previous Motorola Milestone lasted reasonably but got scratched like crazy, and even started getting dead spots on its screen in later life. With the Samsung I've opted for a book-sleeve instead (after trying out the plastic sheet) - thus far (1.5 years) it's not got any damage, keeping fingers crossed. I was looking for the newer Moto Razr's (water / dust / shock / scratch resistant - at least if you can believe the reviews), but in my country they're next to impossible to get hold of.

my phone did fell many times on the ground, sometimes I even threw it on the ground as an experiment...
I guess when the screen fell face first on the ceramic tiles and started to crack, I had it long coming... so I won't begrudge the Nokia for that!
I was mostly annoyed by increasingly blurry pic! It turns out I had grease on my len! Once gone the pics are crisps again!

not really replying to the question at hand.
Swim googles the anti fog is gone in a week or so anyway. Speaking as one who swims regularly 2 miles or more each week. The best anti fog for swim googles is actually spit. You will see alot of high level swimmers lick the inside of their googles and then wipe them out. Works perfectly well.
That being said I don't recommend licking your screen. your hands have touched that and I know where your hands have been. But glass cleaner wipes you get from the optical place works just fine.
Thanks

Ok, she's 116. But isn't anyone curious what they looked like say in 1916? Google images is worthless. They need to post "young" pictures as well. Maybe discuss what was going on back in the day. I really don't care what nursing home, or medical facility they are in now. Tell me what they were doing when they were young. What was it like back in the day?

Yes, happy 4th! Doesn't work here in Blighty unfortunately. I'm still at my desk and it's a sunny day outside.

We get a 4th every month. It's not like a 29th. Now that is a day to savour.

I prefer the 31st - it doesn't come round so often, and when it does, it is with an annoying hiccup in the pattern...
