I'm surprised very few people recommend the 820, I own one and it's great, I have a few gripes with the Windows Phone OS, but overall it's very efficient; regarding the phone, it's very slippery on the default case, but if you can, try getting the rugged one (Nokia Protective or Active Shell CC-3040) or get at least a TPU protective case, the reason is that the LCD (or OLED screen to be precise) is very fragile, which is curious because the digitizer is damage resistant (not Gorilla Glass, but it resist pretty well).

Nokia Lumia 920. Very robust phone. I bought it just when the model was released. I have done soft reset couple times since then. Phone is very responsive and fast. Embedded Nokia navigation system that allows download all required maps locally and does not require cellular data to navigate. PureView camera cannot be compared to any phone cameras on the market. Good quality pictures. Plus XBox games, plus MS Office mobile, One Note.

I have a Lumia 900, overall its a decent phone. The camera is great at 8MP and a really useful feature for me is that it has a radio. There seems to be a bug, the screen goes black and i need to restart, it seems to happen very occasionally. not sure what the problem is. there is definately less apps available than in the android and ios stores.
I only paid approx 1/5 of the price of an iphone, so i do think it is better value. If I were to ignore price, i'd say an iphone is better, but adding price into my decision, I would say lumia.
I have not tried an android phone yet!

I had a 920 and it was great, no problems and I love the Windows Phone OS. I just upgraded to a 1520 and it is the best Windows Phone so far.

He had to be escorted to Geneva by french army jets, because the swiss airforce is only "ready during office times" (cité a spokesman of the airforce). The swiss army was already known as a bad joke, but the airforce now doubled that.
Wanna hear some more stories? A few years ago the tank departement of the army discovered 105 tanks in a mountain bunker. They were quite surprised, because they thought the tanks were "lost" - No idea when and why 105 swiss tanks can get lost, we hardly ever need them. And it's not like there are not dozens of cars the army looses every year because they can't find them anymore after they've hidden them in the woods.

If that had been posted by a non-swiss person...The Swiss would probably and aggressively not declare war on them!
Thank you - I needed a laugh!

Oh, and did you know we have a Navy[^]?
I guess I have not mentioned that close to a kilo explosives went missing a few years ago.
And I just found out that these were not 105 tanks which were missed, 400 tanks is the right number[^]!

Another "funny" fact about the swiss army:
About 10% of former soldiers never returned their material (assault rifle, (in some cases even ammunition), etc.) and the army has no idea who those 10% are...

That doesn't really concerns me - What concerns me is the amount of people who got a rifle, failed the 2nd psycho test and didn't gave their rifle back.

The swiss airforce also can't test their jets, cause before they reach Maximum Speed they reach the Country borders :P

Alright Admin Retards,
1: Your 'change password every 45 days' policy is nonsense.
Having hoards of mouth breathers change their password from '123' to '456' every 45 days isn't making your network more secure. They're using easy passwords because remembering a new complex password every few weeks is nonsense.
2: Your 'cannot use same password for at least 10 iterations' is nonsense.
This provides absolutely NO benefit to network security and if you think it does you should be terminated - and no, I don't mean your job.
You Nazi administrators out there that set up these stupid policies are doing absolutely NOTHING to secure your networks with these policies. While I agree with enforcing complex passwords these other extraneous policies are nothing but grief and do absolutely nothing. PRO TIP: Actually read up on your job, learn real techniques, and leave the 'appearance of security' to posers like the TSA.
It's BS like this that makes me want to leave IT altogether.
