Indeed, a good Toad in the Hole is a thing of beauty, served with a good gravy! So much does depend on the quality of the snags though: using the cheapest you can find is not a recipe for success! Laugh | :laugh:
These are good: Black Farmer[^] - 90% "proper" meat, they have excelent taste and texture. Brilliant for sausage sarnies as well, but I'm sure you can find "real meat" sausages in the US as well as the "mechanically recovered" meat versions Dead | X|
