Solid nitrogen is quite easy to get, if I remember correctly from my chemistry class (quite a few years past already ).
All you need is a nitrogen pressure bottle and something like towel. if you let out into the towel it gets solid due to the difference in pressure, and sticks to the fabric. Sure, it sublimates eventually but you get a few seconds or even minutes before they are gone (a bit comparable to ice smelting)
Got a few crumbs on my palm where it instantly froze the skin as soon as it touched it. The feeling was a bit like burning the skin with a flame. (Which is, if I'm not mistaken, because the nerves are frozen so fast that they aren't able to send a signal about the temprature, which then is comparable to nerves getting singed.)

I think I have got the *B.NET abortion behaving properly! Much hard work, much swearing, plea's of I could re-write this is C# in less time, misaligned ini files, error handling that caused more errors than it stopped, files opened but not closed. The cancer has a Band Aid, the duct tape is applied and it's due to be sent later today! Am I happy?, I threaten to Kiss a co-worker! 
I now have a set of graphics boards to program & test that should have been delivered before Christmas...

Great! Now that you've got that on your CV, all you will ever get from now on is VB jobs! 
I know from experience. My boss just threw a VB6 job at me for that reason. So now I have to go install flucking VB6 again!
