I saw the story on Auntie yesterday. 113. Apparently she was still "with it". A plucky old girl. I bet she could of told a story or two about life in the 20th C.

The US-ians have had their fun with "November 12th 2013".
UK-ians are about to get 11th of November 2013.
The Japanese are a bit stuck because we have either 25th year of Heisei November 12th or 2013 November 12th, neither of which work particularly well...
Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike... me...

Well, Celsius is based on impure water at sea-level! (Think of the accidents when distilled water is heated in the microwave and bursts into steam when sugar is added. Saw that one on Myth Busters. Would the rest of the world even know about M-B?)
