I am using Jquery to delete rows from gridview. I can get record ID but in order to hide a row I need to know row_id
$(this).parents("#.record");. It's always empty. Why? my grid inside wizard control and masterpage.

How would any of us know why it is empty? We cannot see your code. Just use "View Source" in the browser, check to find the correct ID, then use jQuery to find it using the correct ID.

Have you tried using the datepicker control from the AjaxControlToolkit? Start with that since it is already built.

Use Simple AJAX Control Toolkit CalendarExtender control...and put the TargetControlProperty as the ID of TextBox where you need the Date

A side point, your code should not care what the virtual directory name is so you may want to look at how you are doing things instead.

What is? Restricting people from changing the directory name? It isn't in my experience. It may be in yours but I am not sure how to restrict that.
However, my point still stands, your code should not care what the virtual directory name is. Unless there is some real specific reason to, your code should reference paths using ~ for .net controls, etc.

It's been awhile, but in the properties some where (F4), you can turn off the virtual directory input so it doesn't show during installation.
But I don't see the point in that. Are you going to set it for them?
That installation program is old school and out of date, and only works with metadata and IIS 6 compatibility and management installed with IIS 7+.

At last I have found this. Just removing installation folder node from user interface editor will do this for us.

I i want to develop Grid view that should be add rows in the client side(with out using the post back).Currently i'm using the grid view update pannel and asp grid .And adding rows in the button click so always doing the post back.So ple suggest appropriate code .
