It doesn't work properly in chrome.
I just tried. The first calculation works, any subsequent one doesn't.
I think your logic is flawed when you calculate, think about when you use a normal calculator. The result is put back into the first operand. if another digit is then pressed instead of an operation the operand is cleared and you start to loadup the new 1st operand.

twitter probably has it's own iframe checking code to break out of it because they do not want you to use it that way, it's why they came up with their API.

I'm working on a WPF program and I have a frame that reads an html file that I have included in the project. In the html file there is an input box.
[CODE][/CODE]
Is there anyway I can make the value something I can change in the rest of the program, say back in the .cs file, instead of just a constant set number placed there, like if I want to change the number based on user input? I won't know all the numbers it will need to be ahead of time.

Okay, well, I'm trying to code something to help out another website, and I can't seem to figure it out... I am printing out a list with PHP and MySQL, and I want it to print part of the list in colors... this is what I am using...
------------------------------------------------
<pre><script type="text/javascript>
$("body:contains('Fire Squad')").replaceWith(("<b>Fire</b>")
</script></pre>
------------------------------------------------
and this...
------------------------------------------------
<pre><table><tr><td><b><i>Name</b></i></td><td><b><i>Squad</b></i></td><td><b><i>Friend Code</b></i></td ></tr>
<?
$list_members = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM `brawl` ORDER BY squad");
$list = mysql_fetch_array( $list_members );
while($list = mysql_fetch_array( $list_members ))
{
Print '<tr><td>';
Print "".$list['username']."</td><td>".$list['squad']."</td><td>".$list['FC']."</td></tr>";
}
?>
</div>
</table> </pre>
------------------------------------------------
EDIT: I tried something else, and now it just prints out a blank line where the squad should be....
------------------------------------------------
<pre><select id="squads" name="squads">
<option id="air">Air Squad</option>
<option id="earth">Earth Squad</option>
<option id="fire">Fire Squad</option>
<option id="water">Water Squad</option>
<option id="neutral" selected="selected">Neutral</option>
<option id="admin">Admin</option>
</select>
<script type="text/javascript">
if document.getElementById("fire").selected=true
{
document.write("<input type="hidden" id="squad" value="<span style='color:red'><b>Fire Squad</b></span>"/>");
}
else if document.getElementById("air").selected=true
{
document.write("<input type="hidden" id="squad" value="<span style='color:goldenrod'><b>Air Squad</b></span>"/>");
}
else if document.getElementById("earth").selected=true
{
document.write("<input type="hidden" id="squad" value="<span style='color:#090'><b>Earth Squad</b></span>"/>");
}
else if document.getElementById("water").selected=true
{
document.write("<input type="hidden" id="squad" value="<span style='color:blue'><b>Water Squad</b></span>"/>");
}
else if document.getElementById("neutral").selected=true
{
document.write("<input type="hidden" id="squad" value="<span style='color:black'><b>Neutral</b></span>"/>");
}
else
{
document.write("<input type="hidden" id="squad" value="<span style='color:black'><b>Admin</b></span>"/>");
}
</script></pre>
-----------------------------------------------
Please help, I'd like to have this part done by tomorrow night.... Thanks!

Hi,
I am using Javascript to open up the default mail client and start an email eg
string mailto = "mailto:?Subject=Link to your order&Body=Here is the link to your order" + Request.Url.ToString() + "?Id=323498;
ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript(UpdatePanel1, typeof(string), "mailto", "window.open('" + (mailto) + "');", true);
This works well and I get an email sent through with the hyperlink visible (and clickable - yay!) What I want to do however is to provide Display Text for the hyperlink so that whilst the underlying URL is eg http://www.google.com?id=323498 the text visible to the recipient is Your Link or something appropriate. So it is the same concept as in Outlook when you Insert Hyperlink, you provide the Address but you can also provide Text to Display. (Same in GMail etc).
Any ideas how to achieve this?
Thanks!!

|
|
I don't know how to achieve this in javascript but your email body has to be a html body and not a plain text body as your sample code looks like. After you set this email property you can use html instead of plain text in your email body.

I am asking advice on how to proceed with a project (if possible).
The prevailing conditions are as follows:
1. Excel Workbook with VSTO (MS Visual Tools for Office) DLL.
2. This workbook needs to be exposed to the web for usage by external users.
3. The external users should not able to store a copy of the workbook on their local machine.
4. General function of this workbook is for the user to enter some data on the worksheets and then press a button to generate effects based on the VSTO.
5. Users should not be required to have the current copy of MS Office.
(FYI, I have looked at a SharePoint implementation, but have not found one that can meet all the necessary conditions. If you do recommend SharePoint, please specify the implementation method. )
I was wondering if anyone else has come upon a similar situation and could direct me for a solution, whether it be 3rd party app or MS app.
Thanks

I have a windows service and I want to call a wcf method that passes 2 data object parameters.
The code to call the service is,
Response response = new Response();
LifecycleServiceClient serviceclient = new LifecycleServiceClient();
response = serviceclient.startCase(user, requestDetail);
However I get the following error
Message: The content type text/xml; charset=utf-8 of the response message does not match the content type of the binding (application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8). If using a custom encoder, be sure that the IsContentTypeSupported method is implemented properly. The first 572 bytes of the response were: '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<soapenv:Body>
<soapenv:Fault>
<faultcode xmlns:ns1="http://xml.apache.org/axis/">ns1:Client.NoSOAPAction</faultcode>
<faultstring>no SOAPAction header!</faultstring>
<detail>
<ns2:hostname xmlns:ns2="http://xml.apache.org/axis/">ding0b09.unix.bitola.co.uk</ns2:hostname>
</detail>
</soapenv:Fault>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>'.
It mentions no SOAPAction header!
I understand the problem is SOAP going across the wire but how can I call it differently
Any help much appreciated

here is my code
<div id="main_body_holder">
<div id="main_body_left">
<div class="search_pages">
Pages:
<strong>1</strong>
<div class="u_right">
<a href="/link">My Things</a>
<strong>My Stuff</strong>
</div>
</div>
css
#u_right{ float right; }
instead of getting
Pages: 1 My Things My Stuff
I am getting
Pages: 1
My Things My Stuff
If anyone knows a decent fix for this?
|
|
|

|
Try this
CSS
.u_right{ float:right; }
.u_left {width:auto;float:left}
And HTML
<div id="main_body_holder">
<div id="main_body_left">
<div class="search_pages">
<div class="u_left">
Pages:
<strong>1</strong>
</div>
<div class="u_right">
<a href="/link">My Things</a>
<strong>My Stuff</strong>
</div>

Hi dear
I am so sorry but It's wrong because the div.u_right stay at right of the parent.
for this markup you need this code
.u_right{ float:left; }
.u_left {float:left}
but I rather use another code for first markup (problem markup):
.u_right
{
display:inline;
}
|
|
|
|
|
The allignment is defaulting to display block, meaning each DIV element is rendered on a new line. This is because of a bug in your CSS.
You should have
<br />
<style><br />
<br />
.u_right{ float: right; }<br />
</style><br />
The # indicator is reserved for css by element ID. The dot indicator is used for style by classname.

I'm using the code snippet below in my global.asax.vb to selectively switch between https and https for the "contact.aspx" page. The redirection works fine to and from https but I get a pop up saying that there is some unsecured content on the page.
- If I comment out this bit of code and access it using https://www.mydomain.com/contact.aspx, there is no security warning (IE8 and FF3.6)
- If the code is active, I am on http://www.mydomain.com/default.aspx and click the Contact link (http) I am redirected to https://www.maydomain.com/contact.aspx (expected) but with a security warning...
Any help would be much appreciated!

Check all the image, CSS, Javascript and frame links in the page for absolute URLs - these have to use HTTPS too.

Thanks!
I noticed that the master page has 2 absolute references http://www.anotherdomain.com; I'm gonna try to comment them out and see.
How come when I request the page directly via https I do not have a problem? The warning only occurs upon redirection

What have you already tried? How did that work out? What specific issues did you find that you need help with? No one will supply you with a solution and you could try Googling or searching the articles here.
