Your listbox biding is correct but you should place it under Page Load event delegate and "Not Page.IsPostBack" condition to retain your listbox state.

You have a typo error from your first post. See the bold font below.

I am having 4 user controls in four Tab Control.. each in one tab panel. If i click button in any one of User control.. all the user controls get post_back and Page_load Method of each control get called... how to avoid this....

I have 3 content pages Result1.aspx. Result2.aspx and Result3.aspx with Result.master. I want to display them in a tabular format. If the user wants to see Result1, he can see it is in the first tab or Result2 in the second and so on.

Hi
i am using menu in my website but i am unable to handle it
my menu look like same as code project menu if i open my side in desktop monitor means CRT monitor its fit according to the data present in my site
but when i open same site in laptop its not working properly means menu is starching towards left side as the width of the screen increasing
my question is how to maintain the menu width according to data its does not starch as the screen of laptop increases
i think i put my question correctly
please help its very important

hi brother
i am developing one application in which
1) i need to fetch the user name from the computer how currently log in
2) i need to fetch the all application which is install on the computer for example in the computer they install Ms.Net,Ms Office etc
3) i need to restric the for accessing some install software in the computer for example if developer user sign in i will give all permission if suppose any network people or some guest user loggin i want restric them to accessing Ms.Net software or some other software
The above three are my question out of 3 i have done first 2 that is fetching the user name from the computer and fetching the software install on the system but i am unable to do the thired one
can anyone help me for doing the thired question

suppose in a system MS Office and Acrobat Photo shop are install on the system
my requirement is i want to restrict the user to accessing the MS Office and he can access the Acrobat photo shop this my need

we have created an application with several aspx files which is installed on Windows XP and right now it is run using http://localhost/foldername/xyz.aspx. http://localhost/foldername also works.. and when i want to access the same from other systems.. i need to use http://172.16.____.___/foldername. i want to assign an url to the server's ip address so that it can be accessed by any other system.please help. i guess it has something very simple to do.. but i am unaware of it..
