I need to fetch the client information from the server.THe client information like client login time,logout time AND OTHER login informations.I got it from somewhere that there are log files that carry the member information.Now the problem is where does this log file of member event viewer exists and how to fetch member data from that.

I have two controls: a.ascx and b.ascx.
In b.ascx I have a gridview and function B that collects data from gridview and builds a datatable for return.
In a.ascx I have b.ascx and function A that calls function B from b.ascx.
On page (aspx) it calls the A function after button was pressed.
The problem:
When I'm checking the gridview in b.ascx it's empty despite of fact that I see the grid in explorer.
P.S.
When I'm using the b.ascx directly on page everything just fine.

How are you adding these controls to the page? Are they being added dynamically?

You need to drag and drop these controls from sol.n explorer as other controls.If needed you can define some properties and functions for the user controls.These controls can be called both dynamically and statically.

prob2 I think you can use template field to solve this, just put the text box in a template field

 Strange ! Do you want to make the whole rows appear at the top of grid ?

Hi,
For prob1, I didn't quite understand your question. I'm not sure how you can make all the rows of the query output be the headings of the datagrid. While displaying the query results, it will be displayed in the query analyser with the headings. That you can bind to the dataset and thereafter to datagrid,so the headings will display. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
For prob 2, please try with the following code:
