How can i know the flv file playtime before it is to be played,

Hello,

Can anybody help me that, how to check, perticular files have already installed or not in local system during installation of desktop application.

Actually i've created a desktop application. Now for that application, some microsoft.sqlserver files must be installed in the local system.
I want that during installtion of my desktop application, there should be a way for checking that .sqlserver files have installed.

If not then, installer must prompt to the user that those files must be installed for this desktop application. After this, installation should be completed.

Please help me about this asap...

test.Start();

windows application is executed but it didn't work properly. Can anybody help me.

Windows application didn't work properly. Act. it is a demo aopplication to burn the cd. windows application is not installed on server not on client.

Sorry i mean to sya windows application is installed on Web Server not on client. It communicate with the Local System. I can open a NOTEPAD.EXE properly and it work properly also. But, CSharpDemo.exe doesn't work properly.

Let me tell you in detail. What windows application does is to burn a cd by using NeroCommand.exe which is in the folder of C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroCommand.exe. There is an object of ZylBurner.Burner class. It gets the NeroCommand.exe path by burner.GetNeroCommand(). When i run the application from the exe on local system it works properly and when i run it with the help of process it opened but didn't work properly. i mean to say not get the path of nerocommand.exe. Is there any problem of rights?

Can anyone help me, i have a table that i stated as a server control and i am trying to print but always shows me this error message:

Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message recieved from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled.
Details: Error parsing near 'function win'.

Sorry for that short description..

A custom control (containing Dropdownlist and a button) is used to open a popup form. Certain data would be saved from the popup form to database. When the popform is closed, using Close button or clicking the 'X' in IE, the dropdownlist in custom control has to be refreshed and data manipulated in popup form should be reflected in dropdownlist.

But parent form should not postback, coz that would cause all validators to fire. I was told to add a dummy button (visible = false) in the custom control, and call its click event while the popup form is closed by my senior here.

I don't understand how that would help, is there any alternative?

then, I think this might be a feature of your custom popup control (hope you are not using rad controls.). As this is the feature of your custom control, you probably need to find the property that can disable this feature. If there is no option to disable then you probably need to find another custom control..

If you have the code of that custom control, I think you should take a look at unload event of that popup windows. there might be some code that make a refresh to the parent window...

That's why. Rad control does like that. So, I suggest you to contact with Rad control developers. As you are their customer, they will give you the correct help in short time..

This is the scenario..

Basically I have a page that has a custom control with a button
that opens a new page (popup window). During the closing of this popup, I want DropDownList in parent page to refresh so that it has updated data by making a new call to the database.

The new page that is opened from the button in custom control is designed to add a new record to the database and the calling control should then automatically pull that new record.

I have to achieve this without parent form posting back, coz this would fire all validators..

Is that possible somehow?
