Any luck with this?
I guess my real question is - should we be able to copy/paste from the inline code samples in an article? If not, then there is no problem.
Thanks!

I thought I had replied to this. Apologies.
The script is doing exactly as it should: It finds the text you are about to copy, cleans it, places it on the clipboard and then halts the normal clipboard code (since that would overwrite the cleaned text just placed there). It works fine on all machines I've tested it on so I'm stuck since I can't repeat your issue.

Thanks for checking. Not sure why it isn't working for me.
In case anyone else is having this problem, I did find a work-around. If I go to the printer friendly version, it copies/pastes fine. So adding the qs ?print=true to the URL allows me to copy/paste. I have no idea why that works, but it works.

Internet Explorer also has an option like 'Edit with Notepad', where the source is clipped to Notepad. Did you try copying from NOtepad that opens up. Sometimes if cache is full, even ViewSource gets disabled.

I tried this from home and it works fine. It must have something to do with the IE configuration where I work.

When I click reply, I get a large text area, like the one I am using now for a new post, but the usable area is limited to half the normal size and scrolls, which is not very convenient when you can only see a few lines of your message.
I do not believe they are right who say that the defects of famous men should be ignored. I think it is better that we should know them. I can't receive the reply to my message, though I checked the checkbox that should do this.
How can I find my posted subject? Do I have to search by my user name?

Click on your user name (the icon preceding your user name). And then click on Messages Posted.
Or, see here[^].

I just posted a pointer invitation note in GetTogether Forum to a Lounge Post over here: http://www.codeproject.com/script/comments/forums.asp?msg=2219014&forumid=217394&mode=all&userid=52123#xx2219014xx[^]
I could see them from my profile 'Messages Posted'. However, the GetTogether Forum does not show it. My purpose of posting it over here as a pointer note to the Lounge is as follows:
1) Messages in Lounge appear and disappear very fast. GetTogether is a special forum and hence more Chennai CPians can get a watch of it at least on Monday morning.
Is there any moderation that applies to 'GetTogether' forum or caching effects? Any CPian who is able to see the post by just clicking 'GetTogether' forum link without using the permalink I have given. When I go directly to GetTogether forum, I just get Chris' instructional message and nothing else.

Set the "Messages since" drop down to "All" and click on the Set button - you should see all the messages. Set to "Last month" doesnt seem to work
This does look like a bug?

True. The message which I posted on Sunday was not visible on Sunday itself!

First off, the link that you've provided is incorrect. Second, I've never had problems while editing a post with Unicode in it. I am pretty sure you're doing something wrong there.

Post a tamil or other unicode proverb in a message. Then choose 'Modify' Link.
In the latter case it appears with the Unicode numbers.

Do you really think it's really has to be a proverb to reproduce this bug? You seriously need some sleep!

Just stroke my mind and I tested. It works just perfect with CPhog. Without CPhog, I too have this issue!

Looking into this now. A fix will probably have to wait for the next version

Someone posted something in the C# forum that breaks the html code. The page ends in a middle of a post.
The reason that this happens all the time is of course the backwards way that is used to try to protect against html code. Why don't you change this once and for all?

IE shows the whole page so it's an issue with Firefox I guess. The page ends at "Sharepoint server URL" topic. It seams that there is some url posted that breaks the page

It will be once the new forum software is finished and debugged.
