i have problem with display text : "My street & # 4 3 ; "in my textbox control When i do that in code behind in my page (i.e in some method tbxCompanyAddress.Text = "My street & # 4 3 ; " ) i receive the same text it means :"My street & # 4 3 ;" in textbox .But if i put that text not in behindcode but only in .ascx in text box property (<asp:textbox id="tbxCompanyAddress" text="My street & # 4 3 ;" ...="">) i receive "My street +" which is requiered!. Why codebehind dosen't work? Please help. P.s There are white spaces between -> & # 4 3 ;<- to show what html entities is input.

Can you use a JavaScript to escape and submit? You can Server.UrlDecode() in the serverside.

Hi all, good day!
I have a current search script that can search into a document. I tried to put this page into an iframe and include it with a long document so if a user searches the find button will be always at the top and just the document is moving, but unfortunately this doesn't work. Pls help me how I can do this?

It is better if you should Ajax/Javascript Grid in your page. There is one extension code for Yahoo Grid. You may google about it..
Let me know if you are not able to find the link or any Ajax/Js grid...

Dear All,
I am using the following code to open a new javascript window:

My problem is that this is leaving a border on the top and left of the page. How can I remove this margin (empty space). I want a solution that is compatible with both IE and FF. I tried using css (limited knowledge in this) but did not work in FF

I think you need to modify your post - this time try ticking the little box that says : "Ignore HTML tags in this message (good for code snippets)". And try to avoid white text. And maybe try checking your post afterwards.
Who knows, you may even end up with something that makes sense.

There should be a submit method on the form itself.
And if i were you, i'd worry more about the sanity of your high-level design than the "professionalism" of the odd little steps that are used to implement it...

Yeah, in the C# - without the C# in the subject. I was reading the boards, looking to answer a few tonight, but the vast majority are "How do I...." and not "I've done this and that happened...". I don't know how you, CG and Luc (and a few others) keep trawling through and answering them without throwing huge amounts of sarcasm at them.

Do you want the submit event to fire, or do you want the form to be submitted? 'Cause, you seem to be trying to simulate the former.

Hi there
I would like to use a expanding panel on my page which looks just like the tabs at the top of mozilla or IE7, except that it runs down the page instead of across the top, and when a tab is selected it opens left to right, as if coming out of the left side of the screen. Preferably when it opens it should give a similar effect to the AJAX collapsable panel with a fade smooth fade in and out, or for those of you who have seen the XBOX360 interfaces tabbing system, then similar to that. The AJAX panel unfortunately only moves up and down. Does anyone have any code which they have used before to accomplish something similar or have a link to a tool which can provide this feature???
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am out of ideas of where to look, or what to search for.

Why not just take the one you have - the vertical one - and modify it to display horizontally?
