If you're expecting user counts to be anywhere near accurate on any publicly accessible board, you're pretty clueless. I don't know of any site admin that has the time to vet almost 4 million accounts to make sure there's no multi-account users.

I know that you have been having trouble with the preview system of late so why not just implement it the way Shog has done it? I think that would be the easiest of all the updates to actually implement. I'm sure he would be happy to give you the source for it.

So saying, it is going to happen but I'm just so bogged down that I would rather work on fixing other things rather than working on adding additional features right at the moment.

We certainly don't want pages with distractingly large, bold, or colorful items like these[^], for example.
I think you've got the whole idea reversed. The background - ie, your stuff - is supposed to be subtle and unobtrusive so the content contributed by the members can catch, direct and control the reader's focus.

Chris that is just a sig poking fun at the whole argument. I used Shog's WYSIWYG to make that and as you will see: it is size 18 bright yellow text, which was done at the click of a button (and then changing 7 to 18)
