I know that you have been having trouble with the preview system of late so why not just implement it the way Shog has done it? I think that would be the easiest of all the updates to actually implement. I'm sure he would be happy to give you the source for it.

So saying, it is going to happen but I'm just so bogged down that I would rather work on fixing other things rather than working on adding additional features right at the moment.

We certainly don't want pages with distractingly large, bold, or colorful items like these[^], for example.
I think you've got the whole idea reversed. The background - ie, your stuff - is supposed to be subtle and unobtrusive so the content contributed by the members can catch, direct and control the reader's focus.

Chris that is just a sig poking fun at the whole argument. I used Shog's WYSIWYG to make that and as you will see: it is size 18 bright yellow text, which was done at the click of a button (and then changing 7 to 18)

No, I've been travelling. As soon as my eyes are off the servers they go nuts.

It would be nice to have the ability to upload a translation of the source code and receive credit for it. Say you see an article in VB.NET, so you download it and convert it to C#, because you happen to use that. It would be nice to be able to upload it for others to use and receive credit for it.

agreed. What you can do is post the ported code on the message board with an appropriate subject. Not ideal, but for articles that aren't generating a steady long term message stream it can work reasonably well.

I assume the translation would have its own score for voting purposes? - for example, in case the translation was poor, you could vote 5 for the article, but 1 for the translation?
