Sir,
In my project contains two Forms.Form 1(namely Login page) and Form 2(namely account page).Form2 contains two buttons, we click an 1st button another page will open if button1 as set as start page.probably it would work directly click an form 2.But if we enter through an form1 to form2 then click button1 it forms an error like ..
File Already open in open()
so what can i do

I think this might help... Check your permission level of that directory...
Cause
This error usually happens on Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP and may be caused by any of the following conditions:
- the database file or database folder doesn’t have necessary security permissions to write to, or erase an .ldb file created by Microsoft Access when opening the database
- the database file doesn't have sufficient security permissions or write permissions to be modified when updating data in it. The web browser is seen by the web server as a Internet User that has the server account IUSR. This user needs to have write permission to the database file and to the database folder.
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
1. Use Windows Explorer to find the folder on the disk, which contains the database file (.mdb). This is usually your project folder.
2. Right-click on the project folder and select Properties.
3. Uncheck the Read-only property.
4. Click on the Security tab in the properties window.
(Attention: If you don't see such tab (Windows XP), close the properties window, open any folder, select Tools -> Folder Options -> View, and uncheck the option Use simple file sharing.)
5. Click Add and find, then select the user IUSR_<COMPUTERNAME>.
6. Select the Write checkbox in the Allow; column to assign Write permissions to the IUSR account.

After being fixed, this error may reoccur when compacting the MS Access file since the database file being compacted is being erased and a new one is created in its place.

One advise if you dont mind, whenever you are opening a connection check whether its closed or opened. like as follows
if con.state=connectionstate.close
con.open();
Remember always follow this and follow the above also.

Can I delete all the elements at once from a .net server drop down list control by using Javascript function.
Or atleast show me how can I find the count of items in a .net server side drop down list box by using Javascript function. So that I can use <ddlname>.remove(<index>).
But show me atleast any one thing, please.

Hey man use,
document.getElementById('CONTROLNAME').length=0;
This will remove all the elements from the DropDownList box. This code works fine in IE and Mozilla's latest version.

hi everybody and merry xmas
I am developing a C# library that should send(POST) some data to special page and at the same time redirect to it.
i tried to get httpcontext from caller page and initialized the request.Form with my data and then using response.redirect redirected to page but an error message tell me that request.Form is readOnly and can not be assigned.
do anybody know how i can POST data and redirect in my Library(NOT Aspx page) ?

i solved the problem by creating a method that return a proper auto submit FORM with hidden fields containing my data
then response.write the result into empty page
it's not good but just works

Hi all,
I want to write RegularExpression for accepting
1)only integer values
2)value should not be null.
For only integer I create RE but second condition is not satisfy.
Can anybody knows solution............plz share with me.

Null might be tricky. regular expressions are concerned with whether characters exist or not. If you search "" with a regex of [0-9]+ (at least one numeric) you will get a false. But .net does not interpret "" as null. It defines "" as String.empty.

Hi all
Is there a way to cross check that indeed my user control that I am trying to cache in server ( using @OutputCache ) in getting cached .
But I just want to see physical files stored in the server .... to make sure CACHING IS WORKING ...

I have a proxy that routes web page requests from my local network to my internal cassini applications.
This uses a VirtualFile with an internal HttpRequest that makes the request and returns the response stream through the proxy stream.
However, the page fires only once the first time it is called and i can step through the process, but anything after that is ignored, no breakpoints are hit in the virtual file. How do i stop this virtual file thing from caching? As it's loading a dynamic page?

Have you tried increasing the number of second system will wait before sending timeout meesage ...
add executionTimeout="500" or more depending upon your requirement
in httpRuntime section in web.config file.
<httpRuntime executionTImeout="500" />
I guess it will solve your problem !!!

dont forget to set auto postback to false, otherwise it will be postback to server every time you change that.
otherwise use onclick in the place of onchange and handle the index changing manually and try your code.

I have requirement where nearly 1000 records are to be updated or inserted or deleted in the client side itself through the dataset.Can anyone know how these operations are to be performed through only clientside without interaction on the server side and send back the modified dataset back to the server code to get updated...Hi this is an urgent requirement for me..

1000 records going to the client side is going to be very slow, especially if you are updating them all at the same time. Can it be broken down into smaller chunks of data?
