I have a proxy that routes web page requests from my local network to my internal cassini applications.
This uses a VirtualFile with an internal HttpRequest that makes the request and returns the response stream through the proxy stream.
However, the page fires only once the first time it is called and i can step through the process, but anything after that is ignored, no breakpoints are hit in the virtual file. How do i stop this virtual file thing from caching? As it's loading a dynamic page?
Cheers

Have you tried increasing the number of second system will wait before sending timeout meesage ...
add executionTimeout="500" or more depending upon your requirement
in httpRuntime section in web.config file.
<httpRuntime executionTImeout="500" />
I guess it will solve your problem !!!

use this way, it will work.
<br />
ddlMonRes.Attributes.Add("onchange", "GetDayOfMonth1();") <br />
dont forget to set auto postback to false, otherwise it will be postback to server every time you change that.
otherwise use onclick in the place of onchange and handle the index changing manually and try your code.
you can get selected index by the property cntl.selectedIndex

1000 records going to the client side is going to be very slow, especially if you are updating them all at the same time. Can it be broken down into smaller chunks of data?

Try this man. This example is tested in .NET 2.0 framework.
Dim SMTP As New Net.Mail.SmtpClient(ConfigurationManager.AppSettings("SMTP_ServerName"))
Dim Message As New Net.Mail.MailMessage
Try
SMTP.Credentials = New Net.NetworkCredential(ConfigurationManager.AppSettings("SMTP_Username"), ConfigurationManager.AppSettings("SMTP_Password"))
Message.To.Add("tosomeone@someserver.com")
Message.From = New Net.Mail.MailAddress("itsme@myserver.com", "itsme")
Message.Sender = New Net.Mail.MailAddress("itsme@myserver.com", "itsme")
Message.Body = "This is a sample mail to test the SMTP Service"
SMTP.Send(Message)
Catch ex As Exception
Throw ex
End Try

Hi,
can anyone tell me the difference between session and session.item
sowmya
|
|
|
|
|
Session is an object of HttpSessionState whereas Session.Item is the collection of Session values.
Say,
Session("Name")="Sowmi" 'Here each one is an item of Session object.
Session("Designation")="Developer" 'Here each one is an item of Session object.
Response.Write Session.Item("Name") 'Also same.
