Make sure that user name and password that you use to login has a right to install a device driver on your PC. Check it with your system administrator.

I understand now, As I use Win Xp Workstation, when I loged in my computer with At this computer as option (not At domaine SNCC-Internet) i have see that I was not right to see the printer on the server. After correct that, IT works now when I am loged with At this computer option; but is I am loged with my domaine(SNCC-internet) I can't map LPT1. But there is same thing that i don't understand. When I am loged with Administrateur in my domaine, the map works.
I want to know what thing is incorrect with others users because all are administrateurs of my station?

You have a problem with user right on your computer. Whether all user are administrator on a local computer but you should know it might be a member of user group on your domain controller. Every user which belong to local computer or belong to domain controller has it own group which is used to define the responsibility, right or permission to access resource or manage the computer. For more information you should see windows help file or Microsoft documentation about the difference of user right of each group in windows (workgroup or domain).

Try adding the mode command. and run the whole thing as a script or batch file.

Use Active Directory User and Computer to create new Organization Unit (OU) and gives it name to any name that you want and right click choose Property. Navigate to Group policies table and click on New button. The new group policies object will add and give its appropriate name and click Edit button to edit the select group policies. Adjust any policies as your need and click Group policies windows and click on Ok button of OU properties dialog box. Exit Active Directory User and Computer and go to Start -> run and type this command gpupdate /force. This will force the group policies to refresh to the new policies.
Note: group policies could apply on OU. In order to make it apply to user account, group or computer account, you have to move these object to an OU that you apply the group policies. But if you object need to reside in a difference OU, you will could also link group policies from one OU to another OU.

Do you sit behind a proxy? Then you should configure your proxy settings for both protocols (http & https).
Normally it's port #3128...

HTTPS stand for HyperText Transfer Protocol + Security. This security feature is integrate Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology with HTTP protocol to ensure that the data transfer between the clietn and web server are secure and could not be modify or erase along the ways that transfer between each other. As far as I know HTTPS is use for company that is need to do business online. If you want to communicate with HTTPS site you need to obtain the certificate from the target web server or the target company that you try to contact with.

I need to enumerate all connected devices and decide which device is an external(removable) storage device like DiskOnKey or portable CD-ROM drive.
I want to be able to distinguish a USB keyboard (or mouse) from those I've mentioned.
I call SetupDiGetDeviceRegistryProperty with property=SPDRP_DEVTYPE but it returns with error for almost all devices installed.
Any ideas how can I sort devices by their type: Audio, Keyboard, Mouse, External Storage, etc. ?
Thanks,
Ilan.

what is the difference between user and kernel level threads?
Thanks!

There aren't two kinds of threads, a thread can be running in either user mode or kernel mode. (Also called ring 3 and ring 0, respecitively). A user-mode thread is what you're familiar with, they are restricted in what CPU instructions they can use, and what memory they can read/write/execute. A kernel-mode thread has full access to the entire system.

And an access violation is generated when a user thread tries to access memory outside it's allowed area?
