Would it be possible to add the Per Page settings to our My Settings section rather than in the forums? You can't set it without signing in anyway. The reason I'm asking is that if I have to reboot or it's Monday (highly convenient) all my cookies get wiped. Perhaps some of the other forum settings could also be set to defaults for the user.

I'm not sure if anyone else has the same problem, but I often experience difficulties with CP session while browsing around the site, sometimes it just expires for no obvious reason, like the session timeout has been set to 10 seconds or something.. Really annoying.. I't okay once you check the 'remember me' checkbox, but I obviously can't do that everywhere I go.. 
Is this a known issue or..?

I think a wiki on specific topics would be a cool idea.
There are many articles on CodeProject, but many of they are very similar.
It doesn't make sense for example to create ten articles about working threads and so on.
So I think that there should be a wiki with a small team of admins that create big topics, e.g. threads, stream sockets, dgram sockets, streaming, audio, 3d, specific mathematic topics, and so on, and every user can add/change things.
So it could be possible that every user of CodeProject could improve articles to make everything better! So we could write good article texts instead of buggy source code, which can be very time consuming for a single person. That would make life easier!
What do you think?

I would *love* a WinAPI WIKI. Somewhere to collect comments, tips, errata on the various Windows APIs... Not sure if it'd fly, but would be fun to try. Especially with VS integration...

I think the diversity of articles on the same subject is one of CodeProject's strengths. I prefer to read articles that have a single author's voice, rather than a tech document built by a committee.

I well aware of how wikis work. The trouble with them is that the contents receives so many edits that it is no longer the work of an individual. I prefer to read a personal view on the subject and not get into pissing contests on whose view is more correct.
Wikis have their place. I just don't feel that place is on CodeProject

A wiki can of course not replace the old article system, but it can extend it. We need a wiki because we can combine difference nice aspects that way!
The articles about the win32 api can be replaced by a wiki, but not all the other articles.

I like wiki concept.
Is not a comitee, is like a consensual style of writing. Useful for a knowledge base.
I know of dotnet.wikis.com, but I like more a wiki on the style of wikipedia, powered by wikimedia.
I'm not aware of a wiki implemented on .Net with all the features of wikimedia, if you can find a good one, would be cool, a wiki of .Net using php doesn't looks good.
BTW, I have the resources to start a mediawiki, but again, I like to see it over asp.net.

How about letting a person choose whether or not they want to see votes on messages? For example, I don't really like the voting on messages in the Lounge so I wouldn't mind not seeing all the colours, votes and voting options. I know there is a noise option but it doesn't remove the colours and votes totally.

Drivers are an odd thing:
Written in C, but the complexity is not the C language.
Functionally simple, yet fiendishly complex.
They dont fit into the other forums, C++, operating systems for example.
So can we have a new forum for windows and linux driver developement?

In Firefox, all the forums I visit are too big for the screen, they seem to be about five pixels to wide and this is causing a scroll-bar to appear. I don't know if this is the same issue.

The code snippets (inside the PRE blocks) are too wide. Restrict their width to 600 pixels and you'll be fine.

As Nish said - keep the source code snippets fully visible within the edit window when editing the article and you'll be fine. I've gone ahead and made some edits to illustrate. Take a look now.
