But it wipes out the entire contents of the textbox because of the focus it selects all. so had to play a game and came up with TextBox1.Focus() SendKeys.Send("{right}") SendKeys.Send("{backspace}") works so I like it! Now this code works most for most ofshapefiles except a few shapfiles. I get the following error: An unhandled exception of type 'System.NullReferenceException' occurred in final GUI.exe Additional information: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
