if you look at history you will find that a lot of Germany's resurgence is down to they way they spent the Marshall plan money, investing in infrastructure and its manufacturing base whilst the UK spent its money on the NHS and social reform
are you proposing that we close the NHS and drastically cut our social care to pump money into industry?

I'm proposing a more centrist government rather than the aping of US (increasingly right-wing) American Republican politics and it's dogmatic adherence to the idea that a totally free market will not lead to the sort of corporate greed and corruption that lead to the crash we saw in 2008.

the problem is that we don't have a government at present what we have is a party that is having to submit to black mail of a minority to be able to govern,
the problem is that the choice is not what we currently have and a centralist government but is between what we have and a union driven government and that will destroy our recovery far quicker and effectively than any corporate greed
