Cancer killed both of my parents so I take steps to avoid activities that would cause cancer.
You post every year about your sister and getting drunk; you 'honor' her memory by getting drunk which can lead to liver cancer.
Hmm.. think that one through.

The trouble is that you can't predict or prevent (the thousand forms of) cancer.
The main cause of melanoma is sunlight, and the main cause of other cancers is oxygen. If you cut those out of your life, you're dead, anyway.

With the subject you used I thought you had prostate cancer.
Sorry about your lose, I lose my dad to cancer, and have had prostate cancer myself, but never though to get drunk over it.

If there is an afterlife, Mate, she'll be looking down on you and smiling at your remembrance of her.
The way you honour her passing, even after such a long time, is a diamond. Good on you.

This is a timely thought, as I am in Philosophy class today.
It's required GenED in Indiana.

If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

Anyone used it so far? Is it good?

Not me. I'm still trying to wrap my head around what it is and why I'd use it.

Docker is a VM with new idea about resource sharing - nothing more...
If it is good or bad, as always, depends on your needs...

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?

Exactly!!
I just cannot understand the hype around it.

I dont' use it either, but I've been following it since the beginning.. seems the big thing with it is that the container with all the bits already installed into it becomes the deliverable that someone runs on their server.
Remember that How it feels to learn JavaScript in 2016[^] article a while back? Can you imagine writing the docs so someone who's never seen those technologies can get the right versions of them installed on the server? Don't bother, just do it yourself into a Docker container and ship 'em the container.

That is exactly what I could do with a VM.

Absolutely, but an entire VM takes a ton more resources to run since there's an entire OS in it. Think of a Docker container like a light weight VM.
