What do you - others - expect? The world hasn't changed, so obviously the former punks / hippies / whatever have... it's easy to laugh and say "sell out!" but at least they tried, and did something and, for all that they never caused a revolution, nevertheless they changed some attitudes and entertained people. And it's tiring being a "rebel" - very, very few people have the energy to keep it up once the energy of youth wanes - and we all grow older. Time wastes us all, in the end. Good on 'em, is all I can say.

Quick question - I need to restore the Webasto sunroof on my car ( Pictures on OneDrive[^]
Anyone know if this is something I should/could attempt myself or should I find an elusive specialist and pay him whatever he asks?

Give it to a specialist.
With a Triumph you have enough to do anyway.

The good news is that as soon as you fix it, it will break down again.

|
|

If you still have all the fixing and they are salvageable, it may well be worth considering a visit to your local livery stables and ask about leatherworkers in the area. That side of the work will be most expensive from a car restorer's perspective, but for the sadler it is bread and butter work.

If you are on FB, you will probably find this group helpful: TSSC Group[^] The group is very active and full of advice - in stark contrast to the equivalent MG group.
I'd be tempted to have a crack myself if the materials aren't too expensive - just do it on a hot day when the material is pliable and make sure it's reasonably tight. I know droptops are better off done by someone with a bit of experience, but this looks like a few press-studs (though mod this through the fact I don't know only had rag-tops).
I miss both my Spitties - they are as rare as hen's teeth around here and mahoosively expensive now, they used to be entry-level classics.

Although many may think otherwise, that's almost certainly the best way to welcome new members.

Well, you might want to start by not posting abusive comments:

I am not sorry for what I told you. You offended me first with your comment.

I offended you by politely suggesting that a Quick Answers forum is not a suitable place to ask someone to teach you to write an anti-virus solution?
This must be your first day on the Internet, then. Strap yourself in, because you're going to encounter far more "offensive" responses.
