How do I Print pdf silently from browser using jquery/ javascript

HI,

I am trying print an Pdf from browser with out popup (that comes automatically when we try to print a pdf).Can you please tell me whether it is possible, If yes post the solution please.

You cannot do it at the client end, because the browser is under the control of the user.

And of course it can not be done from the server to the client's printer...

Yes I guess so. It is rather dispiriting sometimes, seeing these questions from "developers" who seem to have so little understanding of the systems they are supposed to be programming.

As Richard MacCutchan states above this is absolutely not possible.

If it were then the ghastly adverts that polluter nearly every web page on the internet would be coming out of our printers as well!
