I've gone in with a flamethrower and dealt with the offending code.

Hi,
Is it possible to turn an article that was not created as a Github Project to such?
Manual synchronization of even a couple of articles is a big headache.
|
|
|
|
|
I'm afraid not. However, I'd be willing to help with the update. If you email me (sean@codeproject.com) when the GitHub page is updated, I will apply the changes.
Thanks,

I've tried updating my profile image multiple times, but I haven't been successful. I go through the process, made sure my image is small enough. Nothing happens.
I looked through the same bugs in previous posts, but there's never a resolution posted.

Could you please email me your profile image? I'll get it sorted.
Thanks,

What's the email address to send it to?

Sorry about that I could have sworn I typed it. sean@codeproject.com
Also I've updated your profile image. The issue was that the image was too big. Our system requires 500 KB or less.
Thanks,

I know you work a lot but... two "editor" badges? (look your profile)

They have two different links - one's an "authority" and one's a "role".
No, it's not confusing at all...

Weren't they before different colors? One with blue pen and the other one with red pen?

I don't recall ever noticing them before.

That's a whoospie daisy that I expect effects two users on the site if I had to guess.

Also in Seans profile;
Quote: Articles 14 (Under Water) Underwater? seems harsh.
Quote: Average article rating: 4.85 Looks pretty good to me.

Adding the PRE tags around a piece of code under "What have I tried" on this question: Editing a Question[^]
results in "What have I tried" coming back blank when the changes are saved.

More likely than not it was a DB or Redis issue that's since been resolved. Sorry about that.

rather than chronologically.
Like in this weeks poll, the most popular one that everyone seems to agree with is at the bottom and will soon scroll off the page, prompting others to post the same thing repeatedly.
Probably a pain to implement though

Yes, a pain to implement
We experimented with that and it's super easy to do. In sanely painful to do in an efficient manner that doesn't either bog down the database or take up our precious space in Redis.

When you hover over a user's name in one of the forums, it displays a placard with synopsis information about that user.
I suggest that this placard be available wherever a username can appear, like in the Comments section of a Q & A post. This would lend itself to uniformity in the interface and would be useful at the same time.

The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

The Bob of your badge looks weird, as it would have been compressed vertically or expanded horizontally.

This happens with age. The width increases while the height remains fairly constant
