In my post here [^] the rendered text appears like this:
"Here's an example of how this can be used:
[__b__]// in Form scope
private List<textboxexevents> TBxExInUse;"
But, the Bold tag in the source that gets turned into [__b__] appears to be used properly.
thanks, Bill

Added to the bug list.
There's a long, long story behind that one. Easily fixed though: hopefully Monday.

[edit]
It appears that the &acr=Success at the end of the URL was the culprit. Interesting none the less.

He managed to post the link just after he reported, I think. Look at the OP's link. If you chop a coupole of parameters of the end, it behaves as we'd expect.

CP Team,
How about having a Cloud centric forum towards Azure/Docker/Red Hat etc? Most of the businesses are aggressively trying to strike a balance between in premise and cloud solutions these days right?
Update (20 minutes later than the above message)
I found a sub forum called Cloud Computing. Might be it helps in the above topics:

Even after clicking the confirm email link and getting the message 'Your address has been confirmed', there is a notification to confirm the email address. Only after going through the exercise second time again the notification goes off.

Not able to reproduce it. I have AdBlock on Chrome running and able to use. I went through the Forgot Password, Confirm Email (twice) without any hassles.

Welcome to the world of ad blocking vandalism.
Not much I can do there unfortunately.

Strange! I figured you'd want to try to make sure folk can sign in/up regardless of adblocker settings?
Mine is usually turned off for sites I visit with any regularity (e.g. CP) but was trying to log in from someone else's machine at the time - then reproduced the issue on mine.
I'm guessing it is the adblocker mis-reading the log-in as an ad?

I hate it when my picture quality suffers on my stolen cable. It's the worst.

Yeah - I find that taking your electricity feed straight from the street, rather than through your meter, often improves the quality on your stolen cable.

A neighbor of mine bypassed his meter and went directly to the pole for electricity. The electrical company doesn't pursue criminal charges in such a case - they just come out an remove the shunt, and ONLY if someone reports it.

I use this - A detailed guide for using the MVPS HOSTS file[^]
It uses the hosts file to block connections to ad sites. The hosts file they provide is updated every month or so. I've been using this for about 10 years.

If we are going to allow GitHub code links (and personally I'm on the fence here) we need to find a way to make them more prominent, in the same way that CP hosted ZIP files are.
Look at this would-be article: JQuery Image Upload with Razor Pages[^] the github link is one word in the "Conclusion" paragraph, and far too easy to miss.
Perhaps we need a "github source link" below the existing "download" insert area of the article editor, so we can automatically make it prominent at the top?

Will you also be updating the instructions how to properly express and enforce CPOL licensing if the project is hosted at GitHub?

The licence chosen is up to the author. They can use whichever locence they choose.

Hey guys, congratulations to everyone who got awarded as a CodeProject MVP, and thanks for awarded me with this honor as well. The thing is, I was just surfing my profile and I saw that the badges are finally live now and the MVP Badge is quite amazing. I am unsure whether you would be able to parcel sticker for them with the certificate, at least I would appreciate this sticker.
But, I had to suggest that you can release a bigger size image that we can reuse on our blogs/websites. I would love to use the image to demonstrate my profile and the status. This is the image I am talking about.
What say you?

Yeah the size which is used for Microsoft MVP is quite nice, we might take that as example

It looks like the zip file didn't make it. Can you either re-edit your article and upload the zip, or email to submit@codeproject.com and I'll upload it for you.
