I have emailed Chris with the bug.........

I've tried a bunch of usernames and passwords and cannot replicate this, though we'll continue checking. David emailed us with a username/password combo that worked, but it worked because it was a legitimate combo (legitimate with a very, very poorly chosen password).
Please email me at chris@codeproject.com with some samples that worked and I'll dig in.
Thanks for the warning.

Chris, we need a forum where we can just ask you trivia questions.
1. What is the (count of the) most voted on thread?
Your Lounge posting rules thread has 76 votes of 5's, which I no longer know if are all truly 5s since you do the outlier algorithm.
2. What is the most voted thread with the highest rating (5) (if not #1)?

Anything with too many 1s tends to be removed.

I said tends. Eventually, enough people would take offense to it and vote to remove it.

Perhaps call the new forum Wissenschaft von CodeProject?

Nice way of sneaking in a German forum when a French one was turned down.

I'm sure Chris wants to spend his day playing Trivial Pursuit. Just saying...

I'd love it.
I'll do it.
If someone can work out how I'll get paid for it, even better.

Over the last couple of weeks, I've been forcibly logged out of CP. Given your message of the other day, I had hoped you'd fixed it, but no - it's just logged me out again.

Can't you just use the force to log you in or better yet to fix the bug so that you only need to use it once?
I always thought you didn't even use a keyboard or mouse to post here.

I'm doing this without even having a computer. I'm tapping keys from 30 foot away.

Do you have "Get a life" checked in your profile?

Nope, I'm married. I'm not allowed to have a life. It says so in the license.

I have a few guesses as to the issue, but before I stick both feet firmly in my mouth, is the scenario that on one page view you're in, then the next you're not logged in?
Do you have "Remember me" checked, and if so, do you get re-logged in a short time later? Or are you logged out forever more, and as soon as you manually log in again you're fine.
Are you browsing www.codeproject.com, codeproject.com, or a different URL?

Jedi's don'tr use URI's, the web knows what to deliver.
