The link i gave you discusses how to change app.config during runtime. And i certainly DID read ur original question. But the thing is, you need to do something on your own too. The example above shows how to delete an entry and then add an entry in the application settings. Now cant you even use that to do what you want to? If you cant then i guess no 1 here would be very happy to help you out!

Hello there,
No one here is a psychic. So we can't really tell you what the problem is until you share application logs (thats if your'e writing them) or atleast what the logcat says.
Moreover this a problem that can happen because of many different reasons.

A couple things that i need to ask you:
1. Where are the files present which you want to copy?
2. What does "listBox1" contain? Does it have the file names only or the file paths too?

Yes i did. As i said, the same code had been working with .Net 4. But i have to get the project to .Net 3.5 and it is not working there.
