Sorry it is not resolved. While saving in the sql database, still the mistmatch is there. In my project encrypting is happening with c# and decrypting is done with a dll made in VB. After the encryption, instead of doubledagger(‡), questionmark(?) is there, I need a solution for that. Look at the Question above and you can see the difference.

Thanks for your effort. I debugged my code and your code too. The XOR value is same in both the cases. The encrypted code is actually saved in the database as a varchar datatype. That's where the mismatch actually happened.

It's me , who posted the question 2 months before. I am working with a similar database in my work(This one I worked as a Sample). I was able to display my treeview without adding Hierarchical datatemplate and Observable Collection. Now since I want my Treeview to perform lot of actions, I need it to be done with Observable Collection. I tried adding ObservableCollection, but nothing is displayed in the Output Window. I tried my level best to find out where I am going wrong. But I couldn't find it out. If possible, please help me with the issue.

I don't know whether you understood my question. The user should be notified when he has a new message. Messages are interlinked with database. I want to know whether it is possible or not. This link doesn't answer my question

My understanding is that when you bind the ItemContainerStyle property to the Style template, the style should be binded. My question is when the style get it to the parent node, why not to the child nodes. Please clarify....

To be frank it has 1000 rows in my original database. Is it possible to create a table with parent ID?

Now Error is gone. But I don't know the Login form is not opening. I just checked my VB project. I gave the exact same as in VB. But from VB the login form opens, but from C# it's not opening. Couldn't able to guess why?

Thanks. But I solved this problem by using commandbuilder GetDeletecommand() and updataing my datatable which is binded to datagrid. . It got deleted both from the datagrid and the database.

My Datagrid is already loaded with the contents from the Author Table when the Window is loaded. So SelectionChangedEvent is giving NullException Error.

My table named Author is getting loaded in the datagrid.Then I am selecting a row in the datagrid. Then I am trying to click a button to trigger the delete,but it's not getting deleted.
